Privacy

Last updated 17 October 2026

Short version: no account, no form, no advertising, no cookies. The site counts its visits without knowing who you are.

Who is responsible

Pierre Natiez, the publisher named in the legal notice. Contact: pierre.natiez@gmail.com

Visit statistics

To know which pages are read and which links are used, the site counts visits with Umami, installed on sorlineup's own server rather than run by a third party.

  • What is counted: the page visited, the site you came from, your country, your type of device and browser, and the clicks on the links of the links page.
  • What is not: no cookie is set, your IP address is not stored, and no profile is built. A visit cannot be traced back to you.
  • Why: to see what is useful and what is not.
  • How long: kept for at most 25 months, then deleted.

Server logs

Like any website, the host's servers record each request for a short time (address, time, page asked for) to serve the site and keep it safe. That is the legitimate interest of running a website (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Stored in your browser

One thing only: if you close the Discord card beside an article, your browser remembers it for a day, so it stays closed. This is not sent anywhere, and you can clear it with your browser's site data.

Who handles the data

The host, Railway Corporation, acting for the publisher. Its servers for this site are in Europe. Railway is a US company: any transfer to the United States is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.

Other sites

Discord, X and the AI assistants linked from this site have their own privacy rules, which apply once you are there.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete data about you, or object to its use, by writing to the address above. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority: cnil.fr.
